Chairman Wontumi released from EOCO’s custody

 The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, alias Chairman Wontumi, has walked out of the premises of Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) after finally meeting his bail conditions.

This was disclosed by the General Secretary of the NPP, Justin Kodua, on Monday, June 2,.

Speaking to journalists gathered on the frontage of EOCO, Mr Koduah expressed gratitude to the MP for Abetifi Dr Bryan Acheampong, who provided one of the sureties for Chairman Wontumi’s release
