  NDC names national headquarters after Jerry John Rawlings The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) and the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) have officially named its national headquarters after its founder and the first President of Ghana’s Fourth Republic, Flight Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings. The naming of the National Headquarters building, now known as the Jerry John Rawlings House, was done in honour of the late former President. The renaming took place on Monday, June 22, 2026, alongside the unveiling of a bust of the late former President at the party’s headquarters in Accra. The event, organised in collaboration with the J.J. Rawlings Foundation, formed part of activities marking what would have been Rawlings’ 79th birthday.
